Principle 14: Persistence

Henry Ford went bankrupt twice during his first three years in the automobile business, but he didn't give up. Vince Lombardi didn't become a coach in the NFL until he was forty-seven. Michelangelo endured seven years of lying on his back on a scaffold to paint the Sistine Chapel. The stories go on and on. In case after case, persistence was a vital ingredient for success and greatness.
